New Thing! Geeks Without God

I’m pretty excited to share some information about a new podcast I’ll be hosting with Molly and Nick Glover called “Geeks Without God.”  We’ll be recording our first episode LIVE at CONvergence on Saturday at 9:30 AM.

Yes.  9:30 AM on Saturday.  I know.  I’m not looking forward to it either.

Rather, I am looking forward to it.   What I’m not looking forward to is forcing myself to go to bed early Friday night so I won’t sound like a complete moron when we record the podcast.

The three of us want to have a podcast that combines the three things we all have in common – comedy, geekiness and atheism.

We are looking at hosting a weekly podcast where we’ll talk about the cool geek stuff in our lives and also explore one or two of the “hot” atheist topics for the week.  We will have guests of both the geek and atheist persuasion.

The goal will be to go in-depth on topics that interest us as atheists and geeks.  We’ll take turns hosting the podcast and the host will get to drive the conversation amongst the other participants.

Our first podcast will feature Melissa Kaercher and at least one other super sekret (because we don’t know who it’ll be) guest.

We’ll have a website and all sorts of other nifty stuff coming up in the next few weeks.
